İnan has made the following comment on the application process and success:
Around December, I got the news of the competition that organized by Unity in collaboration with the world famous Game Developers Conference (GDC). The competition was held worldwide and 50 students got a scholarship that provides a full pass to the GCD to be held in San Fransisco and covers all expenses. I am one of those 50 students. On the path of game development I have started at the age of 11, with my efforts, and with the great contribution of the opportunities when I started to the Izmir University of Economics, I gained my current portfolio, and I improved myself. With 8 years of Unity gaming engine and 10 years of experience in game development, I have competed by demonstrating my work, writing my goals, and I achieved to participate in the biggest game conference.
